Failure is part of Success

There is a business leader in the Minneapolis area named Harvey Mackey.  He is highly successful as he built a huge envelope business.  Has written a few books, and speaks around the world on success.
He said the following that I want to comment on.

"As I've said so many times, if we want to triple our success ratio ... we might have to triple our failure rate."

What a great idea.  To triple your failure rate means you would, without question, probably quadruple your success rate.  The one thing you don't want to do while making decisions about your activities, is to do what you can to be perfect and avoid failure.     What a total waste of time...to try to avoid failure.

The ONLY way to avoid failure is to do absolutely nothing.  There is no other way.  Let me make a suggestion.  First of all when something doesn't work the way you want it to, don't use the word failure in your mind.  Substitute  that word with...."I'm learning lessons.  The more lessons (failure) I learn the faster my business will grow."

Get out there and talk to people, ask questions, make appointments, tell your story as well as the Shaklee story.  Learn lessons every day!   Believe me friend, if you decide to learn as many lessons as possible over the next few months, you will see for yourself the progress your business is making.

Make it happen!
